TimeVale
Need a hand? Email Contactdotvale@gmail.com and you’ll get a reply from a person, usually within a couple of days. Tell us what you were doing and what happened — and if you can, the version number shown in Settings → Help & About.
Use the reset link on the sign-in screen. When you sign back in you’ll be asked for your recovery code — the code the app gave you when you first set up your key. That code is what unlocks your own content, and resetting a password alone cannot do it.
Then the private content on that account cannot be opened again, by us or by anyone. Everything you write is encrypted on your device with a key only you hold, so there is no reset and no back door. If you made a backup file while you still had access, it can be restored into a new account.
Open Settings and use the friend code or group invitation to add the people you want. They see only what you share with them.
On your child’s device, start TimeVale and choose to register. Because they are under 16, the app asks only for a first name and then shows a QR code. Scan that code from your own account to approve it. The child gives the app nothing else — no email address and no password — and you can remove their access again at any time from your own settings.
Check that notifications are allowed for TimeVale on your phone. On iOS that is either Settings → Notifications → TimeVale or Settings → Apps → TimeVale → Notifications, depending on your version of iOS. Then open Settings → Notifications inside TimeVale and check the switches there.
Yes. Everything keeps working offline and syncs up on its own when you are back online.
In Settings, make a backup file. You choose whose events go into it and set a password for the file. Keep it somewhere safe — it is the only copy of your content that lives outside the app.
In Settings, delete your account. Your profile, private events, tasks, notes, keys and notification settings are erased immediately and permanently. Events you made inside a shared group stay with that group and are no longer linked to your name.
Both are welcome at Contactdotvale@gmail.com. Small app, real person reading.
